Crochet is making a comeback this SS10. It turned up on Chanel’s ‘I’m about to frolic in the hay’ SS10 runway show. Whilst making more of a boho appearance over with Issey Miyake. Crochet is the French word for ‘hook’ and crocheting is all about pulling loops of yarn through other loops (with the assistance of the aforementioned hook). It creates that open weave that can test us on what to wear beneath our crocheted apparel to avoid exposing our intimates to the world. bibico have just added a pretty crochet cardi to their summer collection. Hand-made by fair trade producers in Nepal from local yarn this lovely piece works well with jeans for a casual summer look.
