Last weekend saw some great weather and everyone was out in it. On Sunday I took a stroll down to our local city farm in Bristol’s St. Werburgs. The farm is run by the local community and the vibe there is very relaxed, you’re allowed to pet the animals, and children are encouraged to get involved. Spring is the best time to go, as there are lots of baby animals and the farm is a very lively place. Next door is a pub called the farm and they do a delicious Sunday roast. There is also the bath city farm which has beautiful views over bath and for all you Londoners there is the hackney city farm.
So if you’re stuck for things to do this weekend search out your local inner city farm, you will be surprised at how many of them there are tucked away and why not take some snaps of your day out and post them up on our face book page. Links to all three farm websites are below.

For those coffee lovers out there I don’t think there is anywhere better to be this weekend than The Bath Coffee Festival which is returning to the Recreation Ground for the second year this weekend (21st and 22nd May).
It’s a free event and there is loads deomnstrations and classes for all the coffee connoisseurs to get stucjk into. You can check out the timetable of what going on at www.bathcoffeefestival.co.uk.
This year, two new features at the festival are the World of Coffee and the Coffee Academy, where informative hands-on workshops will be held. Workshops range from latte art demonstrations to how to use and care for your grinder, talks on how you can become a top barista and a fun class on painting with coffee. To register for any of these, visit www.bathcoffeefestival.co.uk before the weekend or sign up on the day.
Other free attractions include the Teddy Bear’s Picnic with marmalade sandwiches (my personal favourite) hosted by Paddington Bear at 1.30pm each day, bouncy castle, tea-cup and saucer ride, salsa and samba workshops and plenty more!
Festival opening times:
Saturday 21st May 2011 – 10am – 5pm
Sunday 22nd May 2011 – 11am – 4.30pm
So if you fancy a great cup of coffee and a marmalade sandwich make sure you get to Bath this weekend.

If your not at the Cannes Film Festival I don’t think there is anywhere better to be than the SAMPLE SALE at the Old Truman Brewery, London E1 6QL.
There are loads of great ethical fashion brands attending with their summer samples and past season collections on offer.
We’ll be there with a great selection our samples at upto 80% off and a selection of garments from past collections.
It’s going to be a great day!!!
